外国では「うたまろフェスティバル」として有名な「かなまら祭り」。
川崎大師駅前の若宮八幡宮で、毎年4月の第一日曜日（2010年は4月4日）、春の訪れを告げる桜の花が満開になる頃に開催されます。
子孫繁栄を願う人々で賑わいます。タブーを笑い飛ばす開放的な明るさが、人間本来の生きる喜びを表しているお祭りです。
